Antique / Found Frame Originals

I love finding old frames at antique stores and secondhand shops. There's a certain charm and history in them that's hard to resist. I give them a new purpose by first cleaning them up and ensuring they're sound. When I touch them up, I make sure to preserve their nostalgic qualities and beautiful imperfections.
To create the perfect canvas, I cut artists' hardboard and attach linen, which I can then paint on. Each unique frame inspires a specific painting, making every piece a true one-of-a-kind creation. I sign each piece on the front and back to complete it.
