Antique / Found Frame Originals

Finding old frames at antique stores and secondhand shops is my new favorite thing. There is so much charm in these old frames it’s hard to leave them behind. I give them new life by first cleaning them up and making sure they are sound. The beauty of these frames are the nostalgic qualities and imperfections so if I touch them up I'll keep that in mind.  I make the inserts by cutting artists hardboard on a table saw and I attach linen canvas. Each unique frame gives me a chance to paint something specifically for that frame.  These are truly one of a kind.  Each piece is signed on the front and back.
